Hilary Duff visits 3 Blessings school programs
in March 2011!
Hilary Duff has been a supporter of “Blessings in a Backpack” since its inception in 2005. In addition to being the sole supporter of a large program in Los Angeles, Hilary represents “Blessings in a Backpack” across the world to spread awareness about this growing concern and how important it is to help support these children, who are our future.
“Since partnering with ‘Blessings in a Backpack’ it has been a thrill for me to be involved with the growth of such an amazing program and to experience how a simple backpack of food for the weekend can effect a child,” said Duff. “I can’t wait to visit these schools in Atlanta, Indianapolis and Chicago and meet the kids and thank those who have made this program so successful.”
On Wed., March 23, 2011, Hilary Duff dropped by Edward Jenner Elementary school, to see how the children are doing in this local program. See Chicago Sun Times story here.

Hilary Duff presents Miley Cyrus Global Action Youth Leadership Award for work with Blessings in a Backpack
Hilary Duff, a Blessings in a Backpack supporter since 2005, presented Miley Cyrus with the Global Action Youth Leadership Award at the 1st Annual Global Action Awards Gala on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011. Both Hilary and Miley were recognized for their support of Blessings In A Backpack.

Hilary Duff is a long-time supporter of Blessings
On Dec. 2, 2010, Hilary Duff visited her school to check in on the program and its success. She was greeted with hugs and smiles from all the kids she so generously supports. She really is making a difference in their lives and is a passionate advocate for our cause.
Hilary began working with Stan Curtis and USA Harvest in 2005. She started her first Blessings in a Backpack school in 2007 and is now feeding many kids at her school in Los Angeles, CA.
