Blessings in a Backpack’s Boilerplate
Hunger has both short- and long-term negative effects on children’s health and ability to succeed in school. Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry. Blessings in a Backpack provided 3 million hunger-free weekends for more than 83,000 kids in 45 states and Washington D.C. For more information, visit blessingsinabackpack.org.

Spring 2019 Superhero Campaign

Not all superheroes wear capes. Some feed kids on the weekends! This spring, we are celebrating our volunteers and donors (affectionately known as the Blessings’ Weekend Avengers) in their fight against childhood hunger. To help you tell the story of the Weekend Avengers, and to help you raise funds for your program, our marketing team has developed a super fun comic strip that can help with your fundraising. Customize the letter, available as Word document, and print. Then, print the PDF of the comic strip on the opposite side of the paper.
