Bridge the Gap Gala Celebrates 13 Years of Feeding Kids
Guests gathered for the evening with one shared purpose: ensuring hunger-free weekends for kids across Southern Wisconsin. At the 13th annual Bridge the Gap Gala, gratitude and generosity shone throughout the evening, celebrating a community that has translated humanity and kindness into over a decade of impact.
The gala brought together community members, sponsors, and partners to honor those helping provide hunger-free weekends for children. Structura Financial Partners was honored with the Champion for Children Award (Corporate Category) for their generous support and partnership in addressing student hunger across Southern Wisconsin. Lisa Hayes received the Regina Estrada Volunteer of the Year Award for her instrumental role in growing the chapter, expanding programs in the Oconomowoc School District, and serving on the board of directors.
This celebration was made possible by generous sponsors, including Presenting Sponsor Bank Five Nine, a longtime supporter of the chapter’s mission. Gold Sponsors included Hall Volkswagen Mazda, Johnson & Sons Paving Co., and the Milwaukee Admirals. Silver Sponsors—Baker Tilly US, Evans Transportation, and Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin—exemplified the lasting impact of partnerships that drive the program’s growth year after year. MC Brad Nortman led the evening with warmth and enthusiasm.
The event applauded not only the award recipients but every person who plays a role in bridging the gap for local kids. Thirteen years strong, the movement continues to grow—proving that when a community unites around kindness, hunger has no place to stand.
Together, we’re helping create weekends full of nourishment for kids across Southern Wisconsin and building a future where every child can thrive.
