The third annual ‘Battle at the Creek’ raised more than $20,000 for Blessings in a Backpack

FORT MYERS, Fla. – June 2, 2025 – The third annual ‘Battle at the Creek’ Golf Tournament was a resounding success, raising more than $20,000 to benefit Blessings in a Backpack of Southwest Florida. Held at the Whiskey Creek Country Club on May 3, the event brought together enthusiastic golfers, community members, and local businesses for a day of spirited competition and impactful philanthropy.
“We are thrilled with the outcome of the ‘Battle at the Creek’ Golf Tournament,” said Heather Ford, Blessings in a Backpack SWFL chapter coordinator. “The generosity of the participants and sponsors will directly impact our ability to serve more children. Every dollar raised makes a tangible difference in the lives of elementary students.”
