Team Member Tuesday: Beth Sedgwick

Get to know the Blessings in a Backpack National Staff. Today we meet Beth Sedgwick, director of accounting. She’s been with Blessings since November 2010. We asked Beth:

As a kid, what was your favorite school supply?
Highlighters – I still love these things!

Do you collect anything, and if so, what?
I have a huge collection of paint chips and color wheels – I love to change the paint colors in my house.

What is the last crafty thing you made?
Does the macramé owl I made in the 7th-grade count?

What animal best represents you and why?
A bumblebee. I am always bouncing from activity to activity. Plus my daughter says I can be sweet like honey but I know how to use my stinger!

What was your dream job growing up?
I love dogs so I thought I wanted to be a veterinarian until I realized I would have to treat snakes too!

What is your favorite Blessings memory to date?
Packing bags the Friday before Christmas break at Engelhard Elementary. All the kids had on pajamas and they looked so cute!
