Discover Payment Services Support Blessings in a Backpack’s Mission

Discover Payment Services hosted its inaugural packing event, joined by Blessings in a Backpack’s newly appointed Chief Development Officer Christin Kruse. Together, they packed 2,500 bags of food for schools and children in Rolling Meadows, Palatine, and Long Grove, Illinois.

While Discover has been a consistent supporter since 2017, this event marked the first collaboration with Discover Payment Services. The event, held at the Chevy Chase Country Club on September 20th, showcased the passion and commitment of both organizations to feed kids on the weekends.

During the event, teams from Discover Payment Services engaged in friendly competition, racing to pack bags efficiently. Christin Kruse expressed her appreciation, stating, “Thank you, Discover Payment Services, for spending the afternoon with me and helping feed more kids.” The satisfaction of knowing they made a significant difference was shared by everyone present.
