A couple of weeks ago, our Blessings in a Backpack team contacted the Marysville, Ohio, program about a nearby corporate packing event. We asked if they would like to receive some food for their kiddos, and they eagerly accepted! The Marysville program recaps, “Umm… yes?” I’m not really sure how a program coordinator would say no to that, so of course, I was like, “Absolutely!”

Later, a truck arrived with two and a half pallets containing 32 bins filled with 500 bags of food. That’s roughly two weekends’ worth of food packed and prepared for the school year.

The Marysville program expressed gratitude: “Thank you, thank you, thank you to Cummins, Inc. in Hilliard, Ohio, for feeding our community’s kids, and to Sarah, Christy, Emmarose, and the driver for making this happen! We are so grateful.”
