Are You a Warrior for Kids?
Millions of kids are faced with many obstacles right now. We believe that hunger shouldn’t be one of them. As we near the holiday season, we want to recognize the volunteers, teachers, parents, and anyone working to remove barriers and making a difference. And we need your help!
Do you know a Warrior for Kids? Or maybe it’s YOU!
Odds are, you do!
With the onset of COVID-19, our country has redefined the definition of a “frontline worker.” We have justly recognized healthcare professionals and first responders for putting themselves second by helping others. Now, as communities continue to open up and daily routines get back to “normal,” many more professions and people are on the front line:
- A teacher who has gone above and beyond for their students
- A transportation driver who brings joy to kids during these uncertain times
- A restaurant worker donating meals to food-insecure families
- A Blessings in a Backpack volunteer who has adapted to serve kids in their community
Many of these new Frontline Workers are Warriors for Kids, and we want to know about them!
Fill out the form below, and tell us about a Warrior in your life. We will select nominees and highlight their amazing work on Blessings in a Backpack’s social media channels and website on Giving Tuesday and through the holiday season.
For every story we receive, our friends at the Spartan Kids Foundation will donate $25 to Blessings in a Backpack, up to $25,000!
