Mission Ambassador Hosts Successful Packing Event at International Academy Okma

On May 10, the spirit of community and service filled the halls of the International Academy Okma as Soha, a Blessings in a Backpack mission ambassador, organized a packing event to provide essential weekend nourishment to students in need.

The event had a turnout of around 20-30 students eager to make a difference. The volunteers lined the tables with food boxes and formed two packing lines, working together seamlessly to reach their goal. They successfully packed 100 bags filled with nutritious food items within a short time.

Once the bags were packed, they were delivered to Addams Elementary School. The bags were distributed to students there, ensuring they had food over the weekend. The event showcased a collective effort and the impact of young volunteers on their communities.

Soha’s leadership and the student’s willingness to contribute their time and energy highlight the core values of Blessings in a Backpack. This successful packing event provided essential nourishment and fostered a sense of unity and compassion among the participants.
