Mission Ambassador Spotlight

Mission Ambassador Spotlight

Meet,Jehan!👋

Jehan grew up in a low-income household. This has allowed Jehan to advocate for all children and individuals to have access to healthy and nutritious meals to ensure that no kid is left behind or goes hungry. Being a Blessings in a Backpack Mission Ambassador has also allowed Jehan to raise awareness on ensuring kids have food on the weekends via fundraising, planning relief drives, and many more initiatives, which has benefited many kids across the United States.

Jehan is an avid researcher in neuroscience within various institutions such as the University of Maryland, UCLA, Stanford University, and the NIH. Jehan serves as the Co-Chair of the Education Working Group Committee for the United Nations U.S. Ocean Decade Youth Advisory Council and various other boards and councils to ensure that all individuals have access to sustainable food options, educational resources, and opportunities to expand their voice.

Blessings in a Backpack Mission Ambassadors are high school or college students looking for volunteer/service hours, willing to participate in campaigns and post on social media, as well as have a passion for ending childhood hunger. By becoming an ambassador, you can be the change that we need within our world today to end childhood hunger.
