Packing Events
Together, we can make a difference, ensuring no child goes hungry on weekends. Blessings in a Backpack packing events provide meaningful employee engagement opportunities. Volunteer events are available at corporate offices or designated venues to assemble weekend food bags for children in your community. Additionally, we offer a virtual packing option for those unable to participate in person.

In-Person Packing Events
Your employees will experience an impactful, hands-on volunteer opportunity by assembling bags of food for children in your community who might otherwise go hungry. We will work with you to provide all the supplies and support you need to host a packing event, whether it’s at a corporate office or other designated facility.
How do packing events work?
Commit to packing a minimum of 500 bags at $8 per bag for a total contribution of $4,000. Your contribution pays for the food and its delivery to the event, event supplies, and bag transportation to the designated Blessings in a Backpack program.
- Designate event lead(s) to coordinate logistics with a member of the Blessings team.
- Gather a minimum of 15 volunteers.
- Book your event six weeks in advance.
- Show up, have fun, build community, and feed the kids!

“We are so grateful to ADM for their generosity and support of our Club members. Witnessing the delight on [the kids] faces as they received their Blessings in a Backpack [food] and the reassurance that they would have food for the weekend was truly a gift. We’re fortunate to have ADM in our community.”
