Girl Scouts give Back to Blessings

Girl Scouts from the Oconomowoc area attended Lakeland Girl Scout Day Camp in Waukesha, where they supported the Blessings in a Backpack Waukesha Chapter through an all-camp service project. The campers wrote positive note cards and made key chains that our Blessings recipients can put on their backpacks.

In addition to over 150 Girl Scouts who participated in the service project, many adult volunteers and a group of boys who attended the camp helped too! Through the project, the campers learned about the mission of Blessings in a Backpack and were happy to be able to help kids in their own community.
