Newman’s Own helps provide free meals to Burns Latino Academy through Blessings in a Backpack

Faith Fennelly, director of philanthropy for Newman’s Own Foundation, and Victor Cristofaro, the principal of Burns Latino Studies Academy in Hartford, Connecticut, joined Ann Nyberg of WTNH to talk about the Blessings in a Backpack program.

In the video above, Fennelly and Cristofaro share the need among students at Burns, how the backpack program came about and what it provides for students, and the difference it makes in the school community.
