Vera Bradley + JoJo Fletcher Surprise Dallas Kids with New Backpacks and Carnival

I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun yesterday was! I got the chance to visit the Grand Prairie Boys & Girls Club alongside @verabradley and @blessingsinabackpack and be a part of the amazing things they are doing to help kids all across the country. The surprises keep coming from Vera Bradley and Blessings in a Backpack this back-to-school season. This time at the Grand Prairie Boys & Girls Club in Dallas.

Bachelorette Star JoJo Fletcher surprised kids with brand new Vera Bradley backpacks and an afternoon carnival to celebrate Blessings’ 10th birthday year. The gym was transformed into a carnival with games, inflatables, and snacks like cotton candy and popcorn. Squeals could be heard throughout the club as kids could barely contain their excitement!

JoJo challenged the kids to games of skeeball and hot-shot basketball and races on an obstacle inflatable. The boys and girls made sand art and won lots of prizes. Six-year-old Ashlyn exclaimed, “This is awesome!”

Working with Blessings in a Backpack, Vera Bradley is donating 25,000 backpacks to students throughout the country this school year. Seven Blessings programs were picked to be featured in the partnership. Dallas was the fifth stop; only two more surprises to go!
